A Healthier Approach To Caring

Update from Administrator – January 3, 2021

January 3, 2021

Dear Resident, Family Member or Responsible Party,

Happy New Year!

Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy 2021!

Great news to start off the new year with, we do not have any COVID positive residents at Bayview. We do have 4 employees who are quarantining at home.

We are all very excited for our first vaccine clinic on January 7th for both our residents and employees. Currently 98% of our residents plan to get vaccinated. If you have not returned the consent form or have any additional questions about the vaccine, please reach out to our Interim Infection Control nurse, Christine Emerson.   Her email address is at ICN@Bayviewhcc.com.    Please see the below informative links for some more information about the vaccines.

There will be 2 vaccination clinics. During the first clinic, January 7th 2021, residents and staff that have consented to receive the vaccine will get their first dose. During the second clinic, January 28th 2021, those who have received their first dose will receive their second and those who have not received the vaccine will have the opportunity to receive their first dose

*Please note, if there has been any changes to your loved ones insurance or the insurance carrier has changed please send the new insurance card to Nancy Tian, Finance Director at Bayview.

Our first and foremost goal has always been to provide excellent care for your loved ones and keep them safe.  This was especially true over the last year.  Again, we cannot express enough how much we appreciate all the kind words of encouragement and support.  It has meant the world to the staff and residents to know that people really cared.  Thank you to everyone who sent emails, letters, food, and many other morale boosting gifts.  Although there have been many sacrifices this year, the vaccine is a ray of hope that soon we will once again be able to visit and interact with our loved ones.

As always, thank you for your patience and please stay safe and healthy!

~ From all of us at Bayview Health Care
