A Healthier Approach To Caring

Update from Administrator – December 26, 2020

December 26, 2020

Dear Resident, Family Member or Responsible Party,

We would like to wish you and your family a happy and healthy 2021.  There are still a few days left to enter our December Facebook contest.   Post pictures of your holiday decorations and you will get a chance to win one of 3 prizes in a drawing.  The contest is pinned to the top of our Facebook page, so it will be easy to find.  Check out the great photos which have already been entered.

Currently, we have 5 COVID positive residents at Bayview and 7 employees who are quarantining at home.  We are all very excited for our first vaccine clinic on January 7th.  Both our residents and employees will have the opportunity to get vaccinated.  If you have not returned the consent form or have any questions about the vaccine, we encourage you to reach out to Interim Infection Control nurse, Christine Emerson.   Her email address is at ICN@Bayviewhcc.com.    We have also put some informative links below for more information about the vaccines.

There will be 2 vaccination clinics. During the first clinic, January 7th 2021, residents and staff that wish to receive the vaccine will get their first dose. During the second clinic, January 28th 2021, those who have received their first dose will receive their second and those who have not received the vaccine will have the opportunity to receive their first dose

Our first and foremost goal has always been to provide excellent care for your loved ones and keep them safe.  This was especially true over the last year.  We cannot express enough how much we appreciate all the kind words of encouragement and support.  It has meant the world to the staff and residents to know that people really cared.  Thank you to everyone who sent emails, letters, food, and many other morale boosting gifts.  Although there have been many sacrifices this year, the vaccine is a ray of hope that soon we will once again be able to visit and interact with our loved ones.

As always, thank you for your patience and please stay safe and healthy!

~ From all of us at Bayview Health Care
