A message for our Families: Keeping your loved ones safe, entertained and cared for
Dear Bayview Family Members,
Once again, we would like to thank you for your patience during this very unusual time we are all facing. We continue to monitor and look to our state and federal governing bodies on updates for Covid-19. Below is a list of what we are currently doing in our facility to keep your love ones safe, entertained, treated, and cared for:
- Housekeeping is working diligently on keeping our facility cleaned with the products recommended/approved by the EPA.
- Our rehab department is treating one patient at a time in the gym, cleaning between patients, and always wearing a smile!
- Nursing is quite busy taking resident temperatures two times a day, doing complete vitals each day, and their continued care of our residents.
- Recreation is busy, busy, with Hallway Bingo, Balloon-o-Grams, Rosary, coloring, spending time with residents, word games, and Facetime. Individual whiteboards and disposable bingo cards have been purchased and used for enjoyment! And we continue to post photos on Facebook!
We hope you find the above information helpful and remember to use our “wellness check-in” phone line. Many resident family members have found this as a useful tool to inquire about their loved ones. Next week, on Wednesday, March 25th at 4 pm, we will have our first “Town Hall” conference call for families and responsible parties. Don’t forget to visit our Facebook page @BayviewHealthCareWaterford to keep up to date with our center. If you do not have Facebook, our website bayviewhcc.com is another way you can see updates-under our NEWS section.
Once again, thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times.
~ From all of us at Bayview Health Care
