We want our residents to feel right at home. Sub-Acute Rehabilitation and Therapeutic Services Wadsworth Glen provides superior short term rehabilitation therapies in a state of the art gym. Our high-powered rehabilitation program features compassionate, experienced therapists who work diligently with our patients towards a successful recovery from a surgery or illness. The intensity, frequency, and duration of rehabilitation programming is individually tailored to optimize positive results. Our treatment team practices an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Insurances *Wadsworth Glen accepts most major insurance carriers and will be happy to negotiate on behalf of our patients. Please contact the admissions office for more information regarding current contracts. Admission to Wadsworth Glen Our experienced admission staff will do everything possible to assist you in the admission process. We offer tours 7 days a week and admissions are possible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. We will coordinate with the hospital or other health care providers to ensure that sufficient medical information is received and to help make the transition to our facility as smooth as possible. A facility application , including medical and financial information is required for all residents. A medical onsite and review is also required to determine eligibility for admission. Long Term Care Wadsworth Glen provides long term care in a gracious, homelike setting. Each individual receives care that is designed to meet their special needs. Comprehensive, interdisciplinary care plans are designed to ensure a successful stay. We encourage our residents to enjoy the wide range of social and recreational activities that are available for them at Wadsworth Glen. Recreation Programs Recreation plays an important role in the live of our residents. We recognize that participation in meaningful and pleasurable activities can greatly enhance the quality of life of those in their later years. Our Recreation Therapists are experienced in designing programs that meet the individual needs of all residents, including those with dementia and memory impairment. Social Services Our skilled, compassionate Social Service Department provides support and advocacy to our residents and their families throughout their stay at Wadsworth Glen. Support is provided through individual and group meetings with residents and families. Another major role of Social Services at Wadsworth Glen is to arrange for services to be provided after discharge from the facility, ensuring a smooth transition back to the home setting. Heritage Commons Wadsworth Glen shares their grounds with Heritage Commons, a rental retirement community offering independent living with supportive services and amenities. Although Wadsworth Glen and Heritage Commons are not formally affiliated, we do share a common philosophy of providing the highest quality services for seniors. Upon review, residents of Heritage Commons enjoy priority admission for Wadsworth Glen for short-term rehabilitation.
