 Getting to Valerie Manor
From Hartford: Take Route 44 over Avon Mountain. Go through Avon and Canton. At Old Saybrook Fish House in Canton, take a left onto Route 202. Follow 202 to Torrington. Turn right onto Route 183, which is also Torringford Street. Valerie Manor is a ½ mile down on the right. Note: The Walmart/McDonald’s Plaza is located at the corner of Torringford Street.
From Waterbury: Route 8 North: Take Exit 44. Take a right off the exit onto Route 202, (East Main Street). Go for 2 miles until you come to Junction 183. Take a left onto Route 183 and Valerie Manor is ½ mile down on the right.
From Winsted: Route 8 South: Take Exit 44. Turn left off exit onto Route 4. Go under bridge and bear left onto Route 202 (East Main Street). Go 2 miles on Route 202 until you come to Junction 183. Take a left onto 183. Valerie Manor is located ½ mile down on the right.
Route 8 South: Take Exit 45. Take a right off the exit and go to light. Take a right at the light onto Kennedy Drive. Go to the light at the top of the hill. Go straight through it, this turns into Dibble Street. Go to the end, there will be a stop light at Junction 202 (East Main Street). Take a left and go to the next light, to Junction 183. Take a left onto 183. Valerie Manor is located ½ mile down on the right.
