Lawrence G. Santilli, President and C.E.O.

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Athena Health Care Systems, Mr. Santilli oversees all aspects of Athena’s business and maintains the overall mission and vision. Under his direction, Athena is widely recognized as one of the largest managers of skilled nursing facilities in the state of Connecticut managing 17 facilities in Connecticut and 1 in Rhode Island. Athena was rated as one of the top 50 nursing home management companies in the nation by Provider magazine, June 2009. In addition, Athena was featured in the September 2009 issue of Inside Healthcare, “Healthcare Heroes.”

Mr. Santilli is also a registered lobbyist with the state of Connecticut. He is widely respected for his financial expertise having over 30 years of experience in the health care industry. His experience is often called upon to educate legislators on various long-term care and senior health issues. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Bristol ARC.
