Excellence in Rehabilitation Care

Glastonbury Health Care Center is proud of its excellent reputation. Our 1,700 square-foot rehabilitation department provides the optimum environment to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Our team consists of physical, occupational and speech therapists. These professionals will be central figures in your recovery process, from the moment you arrive, to the day you return home.

If necessary, home care services will be put in place by our Director of Social Services before you leave to guarantee your uninterrupted delivery of care. We will assist you every step of the way to ensure you reach your optimum level of wellness and personal potential.

Therapeutic Recreation

Recreational activities and events are diversified and innovative offering programs tailored to meet your individual needs. Residents enjoy everything from out-trips to shopping malls, restaurants and casinos to internet access and e-mail availability. Glastonbury HealthCare Center offers intergenerational activities, religious services and pet visits which are always a favorite feature. Comprehensive programming to meet the needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related disorders is also available.

Admissions

Whether your stay with us is for short-term rehab, long-term, respite, dementia, or hospice care, our admissions staff will make every effort to ensure that you are well-informed and comfortable with the entire admission process. We invite you to schedule a private tour of the facility, visit our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym and meet the staff that will be working with you. We will also verify your insurance coverage and answer any additional questions.
