Bayview Health Care provides an essential link between a hospital stay and safe transfer home. Our intensive physical, occupational, speech and pulmonary therapies are provided as needed seven days a week. Our highly trained and caring therapists guide patients toward successful and complete rehabilitation, returning them to home and work. During the course of their stay, rehabilitation patients partake in all of the amenities that Bayview offers.

Dementia Care Program

Coral Reef is the secure dementia care unit at Bayview Health Care specifically for the care of people who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia. Coral Reef is a 37-bed specialty unit that offers security and a safe environment that includes specially trained staff, as well as specific programming and recreational activities. The unit has a dedicated program coordinator to help ensure that the residents benefit from our team approach to caring for their unique needs.

Admission

Our admissions director, clinical liaison and social services team work together with family members, hospital case managers and insurance companies to ensure a smooth transfer to Bayview.
